I have a weird relationship with this album. I enjoyed it a lot when it came out and even considered it one of my favourites of that year. Somehow I mostly ignored it after that for a few years before listening again and realising holy shit, this album is fun as hell. It's a lot more grounded than their last album. The abrupt timing changes are gone, but I feel like ditching that aspect let the band really sink into the grooves of their riffs more.
